  1. I am a maker of a famous Cornish ice cream during the day. My spare time is dedicated to producing contemporary art. My prelim drawings are always carried out in snippets of time I get during working hours on a clanky old windows laptop. My website is wordpress theme based so the rest of the prize would be an awesome prize on it’s own. Hope obvious why the macbook would just be an amazing help to my art career.

  3. I want to win MacBook air, because it would be enable me to be more mobile, thus able to participate in conferences as an active participant and not just as bystander. Also, it would be awesome to develop themes and various websites on the go, not being bound top Desktop anymore.

  4. I want a Macbook Air because I’ve never been an Apple fan but have never been able to use their top quality computer line. Only the iPads etc. I am a graphic & web designer recently lost both my desktop and laptop and need a new machine to freelance with aside from that!   17. I am a free-lance web designer and genealogist. A MAC BOOK AIR would be an amazing boost to my business! Currently I just have a clunky, old desk top PC on which to work.   45. I’ve never owned a Mac but everyone in the business keeps on saying that it’s the ultimate tool for a web developer / designer. I’m somewhat intrigued by that, but I still don’t feel the push to spend $1000 or more on something I’ve never tried or seen the potential of. So yes, I’d like to win for a chance to experience what other developers are experiencing and understand why they are so pro-Mac, as I’ve always only used PC’s with Windows or Linux with great results.
    I do know the theoric advantages of Mac and iOS, anyway, and if they all turn out to be true, I’m sure my activity can start growing even more than now, and my workflow can improve.
    Plus, I’ve recently found out about MyThemeShop and it’s great. I could really use the normal and extended membership for one year, as I’m always in need of themes and plugins to work with (those WordPress premium themes and plugins look amazing too!).

  49. I’m a WordPress developer from Armenia. I recently wrote a WordPress theme on my old Intel Pentium 4 PC (you can see the theme on my website if you want) and it took me like twice the time I would need on a fast PC or notebook. Unfortunately, it didn’t get approved on major marketplaces. I would need the MacBook Air to have more time for actual work, rather than spending all the time to wait for my PC to work. The MyThemeShop membership would give me the opportunity to study some good written code and learn from it.
