  4. I would love a Macbook Air so I can work on the commute to and from work. My current laptop is too bulky to take on the train and an 11″ would be ideal!

I’m in the market for a new computer as my older MacBook is becoming slow to load & respond. It would be great to have a brand new, quick Air to crank out edits and find new gigs.   17. The MacBook Air will help me create better products for my clients. Being a freelance developer, being able to create prototypes is essential. Through prototypes, I am able to present my ideas to my clients. With that being said, a lot of the better prototyping tools are available only on OS X.

    Aside from prototyping, the Air would help me develop applications for both the Android and iOS ecosystems. Being a university student, purchasing one for myself is definitely out of the question.

  29. i want to win because my laptop is so beyond dead and wont stay on for 5 minutes before turning blue, and ive been doing all sort of work on my kindle or Iphone. I want a Mac book so it can sync with all my mac products too!

  46. I would love to have a MAC Airpad! I have used a MAC since 1994 for Graphic Design until 2003. After starting my own business I continued to use a MAC but also a PC. There is no comparison! Today I also own an IPhone and an IPad and will continue with MAC until the day I die!

My girlfriend should win this MacBook because despite having the most disappointing and unluckiest year a person can have (e.g. her custom car, one of her most loved hobbies, has been set on fire and burned down in front of our house), she continued to develop herself as a photographer and kept on moving forward.
