About Future of Web Design

Future of Web Design has been producing web design conferences for nearly a decade. FOWD is intimately familiar with the trends, technologies, and stars that make the web beautiful. Our two-track events mean you always have a choice — you’re not locked into one room and one track. And we record every session for all attendees, so you’ll never miss a thing. As always, content is king.

  1. With everything involving the web, our objectives should always be to look forward not back. The ‘future of web design’ seems like an engaging way to communicate this exact ideology, so I’m in – please…

  2. Would be great to attend and be part of such a conference for the very first time…

  3. It makes me so excited to see design and development are finally coming to a point where they are living harmoniously with each other. Every day I see more and more beautiful website and exciting new ways that design and development are working together to create unique experiences. I would love to attend in order to learn more about how the web is changing and what we can do to help it get there faster!

  4. “It is important to realize that observation is much more than merely seeing something; it also involves a mental process.” – W. I. B. Beveridge With the help of codrops, I am hoping I can attend this and become part of the process and the future of web design!

  6. Web design field is so wide and fast paced. There are some centers in the world that have impact on design. London is one of them.
Interaction with other designers, learning new tools and be in enviroment can be very inspring.

  7. I was living in Greece for so many year, faraway from this awesome conference, i m now in the uk, i need to attend these stuff! I d be really glad to get the opportunity to go, keep up the good work on codrop!
    Brice

  8. I am a User Experience Architect (AB muti-variate test manager), I would love the opportunity to attend this conference. With the knowledge attained at this conference, I would return to my web testing environment and create experiments which test these new trends in real time. Determining which designs and experiences the visitor responds positively to is the future of website experiences. Some designs and experiences have proved exciting but also failed to cater to the modern web user.

  9. I’ve been wanting to go to the FOWD conference ever since they started having them but never had the chance to go. I would really love to attend this time 😀

  10. I would love to go to this conference because I have never been to a foreign country. What a great way to make London my first trip attending a conference about my passion: programming!!

  11. Why i chose to be a web designer? What makes me so interested in design?
Its because i feel webdesign is like an art. Web design is something which keeps on evolving. Be it realism vs Flat design, it never fails to be admired by users. Be it font as popular as helvetica. Web design is the best thing happened to me.

So what is the future of web design?
How will it evolve in future? Thats what i wish to know from this conference.

I am highly inspired by amazing tutorials on codrops on SVG. Looking for more such tutorials.

  12. I would love to attend! I consider myself fairly new to the world of web design, having transitioned careers from the print world this past year. I think this would be a perfect opportunity to learn and become a better designer, developer and educator to those around me.

    Fingers crossed!

  13. I would love to be at this event because there are so many exciting things happening in web design at the moment. It would be a really awesome experience to hear how these guys think about the future of web design.

  14. As a junior frontend developer/designer I would love to go to this conference. If I could afford it I would buy tickets for it tomorrow but I’m still looking for a full time job and funds are short at the moment.
Going to the conference would not only gain me more knowledge on my path of becoming a better developer, it would also allow me to meet and learn from people who are in the industry and passionate about what they do.

    Cheers

  15. I would love to attend #FOWD 2014 and It would be my first web conference ever! I’d love to learn here from Rachel Nabors on UI, Animation and the Future of Interaction! 😎

  16. I attended FOWA Miami back in 2009 and it was great. I would love to attend again. Additionally, now that I am married (with children), it is much easier to convince my wife to let me go to London than Miami 🙂

On a side note – keep up the great work and excellent content!

  17. It would be an experience of a lifetime to get a chance to attend the Future of Web Design conference

  18. Thanks again for the awesome giveaways! Really nice. I’d like to win these, I just got a new job as front end dev and it would help me an awesome lot to know more about the future design. There’s nothing better then looking into the future and being the first one to apply a new style. U guys are awesome!

  19. I need this, I am a South African student who loves web design/development, I work for a company full of incredibly skilled individuals who know everything about anything (I only started coding in HTML5 and CSS3 last week) I need this so to be well informed and to gain some self asteem (after attending this I promise to create the inspirational website of the YEAR) come on tympanus.

  20. I would like to have the chance to both visit london and attend a great conference to meet with some folks from the web design industry.

  21. I am a self-learnt graphic and web designer and I would love to be a part of it as it can and it will help me A LOT to become a better designer and yes make the internet a better wave to surf. May be, all of the best designer assemble in this conference but what it means to me is a tunnel to a better future. I am only 18 so there is so much for me to learn and pass on. And this, this shall be my perfect route to the milestone. I would really really love to be a part of it.

  22. Well who the f*ck wouldn’t want a opportunity to visit one of the most awesome events for web designers 😀
Thanks for giveaways like these. I think most of us that wrote a comment can’t afford to go to events like these and really appreciate giveaways like this one, since we need to learn more to afford it to go on our own 😉

    Thanks again,
    Igor

  23. First of all thanks for the great giveaway! As a self taught web designer and front end developer in Ireland I have for the past 5 years always tried to better my knowledge and keep on top of the ever changing industry we work in. I’ve never been to a web conference but have always wanted to be a part of one, this would be a great opportunity for me to connect and get to know other fellow web designers from around the world. Plus the fact I sent their “convince your boss” PDF to my boss to help me go… He wasn’t convinced!

Good luck to everyone and again awesome guys for giving this away, hopefully it’ll help the person lucky enough to win!

  24. I’m a geek CTO, also responsible for the design. A combination from hell.

I would use my free ticket to network with people who could work with us and finally release me from the eternal “radio buttons or drop down menu” debates.

(…and maybe bring some fresh dev perspective into the design debates)

    Cheers!

  25. I actually waiting for ‘Web design 2014’ and now you giving free… I want to attend to learn.

  26. I think this is a very big experience for a web designer and for a lover of all what the design is.
