About Future of Web Design

Future of Web Design has been producing web design conferences for nearly a decade. FOWD is intimately familiar with the trends, technologies, and stars that make the web beautiful. Our two-track events mean you always have a choice — you’re not locked into one room and one track. And we record every session for all attendees, so you’ll never miss a thing. As always, content is king.

  1. Interfaces and user experience is my passion, but i’ve gotten a bit stuck doing server-side code work. I’d love a chance to learn about the latest that’s happening on the design side and hopefully get a chance to create better interfaces.

  2. Its always good to catch up on new trends, conferences look great in CV, never been to london before!

  3. It would an amazing experience for me to learn from some of the best people in the web industry as well as sharing new ideas in order to keep pushing the boundaries of web technology.

  4. I’m very interrested in attending this conference because I just got my bachelor in webdesign/webdevelopment, I’am 22 and me and my friend (@Nantiee who by the way is still in her last year in the same school I was) want to create our own business this year when she got her bachelor too. So as you may understand, me just out of school and her still a student we couldn’t afford this conference otherwise. I know there only one ticket to win, but with one ticket we’d split the bill of the other one, which would be a student ticket for my friend and 120£ split in 2 is totally affordable for us, and we could afford to travel to London as we are in Belgium, just the other side of the sea.

We would be infinitly greatful if we could attend at our first international web conference just before lauching our business.

I shared here on my twitter account.

  5. Maybe if I could go to a huge conference like this, and when my boss would see all the knowledge with I would return, he would send more to more conferences in the future

  6. It would be a great opportunity to meet new development trends on web design as well as join those developer communities!

  7. I went to FOWD last year. My mind expanded (and nearly exploded) with all the knowledge and insights I picked up! I would love to go back (plus here’s a shoutout to the Brewery for their excellent venue & event management!) (shared @exonumi)

  8. This would be a great experience for any designer / developer in the game. Heard much about FOWD and i would like very much to be a part of it.

  9. As a web designer and front-end developer, running my own agency on the second year now, I will use the conference as yet another stepping stone in upping my game. My ambitions are high and dreams and goals are even higher. Constantly evolving is a personal matter to me, and I can’t sit back and relax, especially not in this industry!

  10. Just finishing my Graphic&Web Design scholarship, I would love to get there and learn more from professionals.

  11. It’s all about knowledge sharing.
I’ve created a directory of inspiration, useful resources and tools for User Experience Designers.
The conference offers a huge doses of inspiration and i will share this input with all my readers of UXADAY.

  12. Because I would like to be a better web designer and meet the best contacts I’ve lever met.

    Thank’s a lot ! 🙂

  14. I want to go to the Future of Web Design so I can share my vision of the future and they can tell me why I am wrong!

  15. There really is no need to give a reason why i would love to attend the conference. Its obvious. It would be awesome.

  16. As someone who recently went freelance I can’t afford to spend close to £500 on conference tickets.

  17. Missed the last one.. can not forgive myself. This year it has to be a must..
Really interested in the future of webdesign… cause its also my future!.. Please!

  18. 2013 was kind of a disaster year for me; my familiylife suffered hardship after hardship and in the midst of these tough times I lost my job as a webdesigner after 2 years of working for them. Starting this month things are looking better again; we’re seeing a change in our fortunes and I got a new job as a web- and interactiondesigner at a great company. I’m looking to the future now and I am itching to get a good new start. What better way to look to the future than to learn the future of webdesign by learning from the best in the heart of London! I’ve never been to these converences before because I never had the chance. Would love this chance to make a fresh new start filled with a new prospective!

    • sry i read the comment after ….. and unfortunately i am not sure to attend so please do not add me for participation ….. thank you …. but some day that dream will come true …

  20. I would love to attend this conference because it gets me out of the hell hole that is my work office for a few days 🙂

  21. I just want to learn to get better and improve what I already know. Never attended a conference so I’m curios too.

  22. I have been involved in web design since I was 14 (14 years ago) and I cant get enough of finding out what the future holds.
I love my job hobby and everything to do with web design and development.

I have never really been able to afford an event like this so it would mean so much to me to finally get to one of these fantastic events.

  23. Constantly learning and keeping up to date is the main key to my career.
Everything I learn I try to give back teaching others, sharing knowledge. ng-learn.org is where I try to give back everything I learn on AngularJS.

  24. Creative director/digital media manager based in the states- would love the opportunity to check out the conference and the county. Thank you!

  25. I want a ticket because I am working with small business people and helping them to get noticed with their services and products. And they need every advance they can get. Even the newest information horizon of their webmaster and social media manager. Just me.

  26. I love the way trends are moving away from the styling of elements to create an experience and more about the relationship of elements to create an experience. It seems that there is a better vocabulary for this approach than there used to be, thus easier and more comprehensive. Count me in!

  27. I have never attended an event like this before and I think it would be great to hear from some of the great people.

  28. I haven’t been able to attend since 2007!!!! I absolutely loved it and I learnt so much. Carsonified,Paul Boag from Headspace, and all the other speakers were great hosts feeding my brain with all sorts of lovely web things (like “elastic web design” now called responsive I do believe). All the speakers added value to my working life arsenal.
UnfortunatIy I have been so busy webbing shizle up since that it has been impossible to attend. BUT THIS YEAR! This year is different.. I made sure my diary was free for the FOWD badboy!… I can’t recommend it enough.
