  1. A business card that stands out from the crowd? Obvious: a business card with PIXEL ART graphics!
    It would be the perfect merge between digital design and print design!

    Take a look at this business card that i made for my webcomic: http://db.tt/1jPKR2fk

    I still haven’t printed it, so this giveaway would be an awesome opportunity to do that!

  2. Colours, geometric designs, simplicity. I would like to see all of this in a business card.

    People shouldnt look at it as a business card. People should look at it as a beautiful piece of paper giving valuable information for contacting the person.

    A business card should stand out from the black and white cards. It should be simple, sweet and smart. The business card give’s an idea about how the person’s life, nature is. How he lives, eats, sleeps, but mainly works.

  3. Interesting contest indeed. In my opinion a business card should have a minimal design, with all the information made clear. If i were to design a business card i would use mostly subtle images to induce my business idea and motto.

  4. A business card is nothing more than a memo to do business with you. Personalizing and being all creative is a nice addition, but it needs the information that person desires. Having multiple cards so you can choose which one to give to that person is great! Add a map on one to find your store and add white space for a handwritten message or calculation on an other.

  5. I would like to have 3D Holography in my business card. It would definitely make it stand out and be fun to have.

  6. I will use bright color strips on back of card with hand drawn illustrations. my name in big fat letters

  7. I would make a responsive business card design. You can zoom in by moving your face closer and it’s retina printing no matter how you look at it!

  8. Well, my idea of a perfect, or at least multi-useful business card would be that on every business card will have a certain product from my website ( an apparel website ) and in hologram like a discount code for purchasing a product. Of course, on the other side there will be all the info a business card should have. Multitasking is the key.

  9. I’ll make my business cards with a personal QR code with all my contact information. This way will make easy to save my contact information in your smartphone or tablet.

  10. I will place a Chrome browser image on the front page of the card and display my photo, name, tel no, designation and office address inside the browser nicely, Display company website address in the address bar of the browser.

    Location map (Google map) of our office backside of the card.

  11. Some sort of non-paper material. This on its own would make it stand out. Add some clever 3D cut outs and you have a mind-blowing business card!

  12. I’ll use bright colors with a different pattern on each card, and a QR Code along with my contact info. Combine that with Moo’s awesome cardstock and printing and my cards will definitely stand out in a crowd.

  13. I would make a wrapper with some ‘holes’ on it and inside that I would put a card for slidding left-right.
    As the card slide, it would make changes to the outside image, compounding new situations.

    Example:
    – wrapper: a person, maybe a customer, holding something in the hands. A hole for the face and another for the object;
    – card: faces (happy, curious, etc) and objects (mobile, tablets, etc);

    When slide the card, the face and the objects are changed;

  14. I am really in love with the Facebook Timeline business cards introduced by MOO
    Nowadays social media plays an important role in our lives
    My business card will be similar to Facebook photo tagging
    In the front side of the card I will have my photo fully covering the side
    Then there will be a cursor hovering over my face showing my contact details.
    (just like how the Facebook photo tagging)
    I think it will really stand out among all those other creative cards out there.

  15. Well there may be many ways to get my business card stand out from the crowd, but some of them things may vary with my line of business together with my taste of things. The things I would consider are simplicity, elegance, style and uniqueness, from there I would opt for some additional features such as letterpress, deboss or emboss and also the right quality of paper. Therefore in considering these things am sure my card would stand out from many out there.

  16. I will use two signature colors to make the logo. With one color I will make the table and with other color I will write the details in side that table.

  17. Well the Bussiness Cards must represent the bussiness, but not always it have to looks elegant. I’ll go creative and makes my card looks different yet creative.
    Well, since I’m in computer bussiness and also webmaster too I think I can go with some notepad++ template maybe, makes the background looks exactly like when we open the software, with the font type, color, line number where people would be know exactly what bussiness I’m in. or, I can go with dos template with all black background and usual dos font and also some C:// parameter touch, or even Windows template with the nicely placed start orb.

    I do think it will makes my card stand out and also makes an good impression to the client.

  18. I would love to make some cards with parts of websites I’ve built, but an enhanced view (for instance, some code showing through or some remarks about it). So that if you hold it up to your screen, awesomeness happens!

  19. I will forever be a fan of the ‘grunge’ style. So with these business cards I would ‘rough them up’ and make them a little dirty and used. So each one is also individual.

  20. I would like a cool big logo on the front, (or just my picture) with the business description under, and “for contact detail see the other side”. The other side would read” Google me or visit mywebsite.com”, or just “google me”, or “for contact detail see the other side”.

  21. One side is a large question mark (in appropriate font of choice – nicely styled) the other side has the information. People are curious… encourage them to take interest.

  22. I would make my business cards out of solid gold. They would be heavy and shiny, but they would be expensive and so I would have to charge anyone who asks for one. But that’s okay, if you hire me, you can return the business card for a discount! Everyone wins!

  23. I need my cards to sometimes double duty as price tags, so one side needs to have my contact information in a bold color and the other side needs to be a design that works blank or as a pricing tag. I have seen barcode prints that look awesome and would work perfectly on the back!

  24. Minimal design for me, when there is detail though, its multifaceted and rich. A white background and my logo (centered) on the front. On the back a larger version of my symbol which is off-center and cropped so its bleeding on two sides (top and left) info is aligned right.

  25. I want a Rubik’s-Cube-concept card! some thing u need to experiment. a card offering a full user experience.
    Or some thing that looks exactly like my identity card with the only difference that the one needed has only to do with my graphical ID !
    How does this sound?

  26. I’m starting a Tshirt company. This would be great to showcase a different design on each card.

  27. I’m Momcilo, from Serbia. I’m 17 years old and I’m a photographer and web designer. Because I need business cards for both profesions, i will make one business card, one side of card for me as web designer, with all personal informations, and other for me as a photographer, with all personal informations, too. Only one difference is image. In first i’ll be sitting in front of lap-top as a web designer, on second image is me as a photographer, with camera in hands. Sincerely, it’s just one of a million ideas that I have. I realy would like to receive this gift.

  28. I’d like my business card to stand out from the crowd because in the end I want my personality and work to stand out from the crowd and get recognized. Would love to win this giveaway. Thanks!!

  29. I would like to print some for me … in a creative way i will show you if i win 😀

  30. I love mysteries and be creative, I will put a scrabble or a sudoku on the card, card holder can solve the puzzle to decrypt the secret messages. I will also put a QR code, others can simply scan the code and contact me directly.

  31. Crazy color cards are cool… but seriously “All You need is”… white! My cards will be as white as possible. On one side will have only two chars in Katakana (Japan language) – my nickname and on other side just name, phone, email & website. Nothing more, nothing less.

  32. Well I´m starting my online marketing company and our logo looks like a sticker, so i would make a “normal” looking business card with the logo at the front and the info at the back and make it so that it would be an actual sticker, but keeping the information available at the back of the card, so you´ll have a sticker and a regular business card.

  33. It is important for me that cards be themselves a work of art, and take one to another place. I would use the print infinity to tell a story on the backs of the cards, and encourage people to collect the whole thing.

  34. I think I will let my children make some drawing that I will add on the cards. Will be so original and will remind me of them at all times.

  35. I am planning on using bold fonts to stand out. It will definitely stick out on the white background.

  36. My business card will have pure white as the background colour. On the front side, I’ll have my name in solid black whereas on the backside only my phone number will be printed and it’d be black as well. When it comes to typeface, I’d go for Adobe Garamond.

    I know more than certain that such business card will stand out.

  37. A successful business card is one that people would want to show others after receiving it. I would use a minimal design, a silhouette of a business woman on a white background. With this minimal approach I’d hope to create a level of intrigue, enough to make to card holder use the website or call my contact number. I’d combine this with an elegant font for the text.

  38. I work part time with pre-schoolers with autism and I think I’ll use snapshots of their artwork for each business card as a way to promote a new initiative that I’m establishing called “Give 10” as a way to give back to our local community and non-profits. It will capture the beauty of what it means to give back and the impact that can have on a child, family and ultimately the community we live in.
